The cottage was absolutely charming with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The personal touches, such as the welcome package with tea, coffee, fresh milk, beers, biscuits. We also appreciated the cozy log burner, which added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning scenery, especially during lamb season. It was a peaceful and quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Initially, we found the cottage a little old-fashioned, but it quickly grew on us and added to the character of the place. There were a few minor issues that could be improved upon.

Had a great Xmas trip to this charming cottage in a stunning location. Immaculately clean with a lovely log burner and well-equipped kitchen. The owner was thoughtful, leaving milk and treats. The cottage was picture perfect, with comfortable beds and surprises like beer and chocolates. Beds were comfy and the garden was like a secret garden that excited our granddaughters.
No real complaints, just wish we could have stayed longer and brought our dogs.

We had a wonderful time at this charming cottage surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, with a cozy log burner that was already set up for us. The thoughtful owner even left us some treats upon arrival. We highly recommend Dalesway Cottage for a relaxing getaway.
In terms of improvements, we did encounter a few minor issues. The wifi connection was not working properly, but thankfully our phones had reception.

The cottage was absolutely stunning with a perfect blend of modern and traditional decor. The comfortable beds and powerful shower made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering, and the complimentary welcome treats and drinks were a lovely touch. The log fire in the living room created a cozy atmosphere, and the back porch offered breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. the cottage had a great location and provided a wonderful home away from home experience.
Parking was a bit challenging due to the steep gradient of the driveway and narrow road, especially when arriving late at night. upon first impression, the cottage seemed a little old-fashioned, but it actually added to its charm and was in keeping with the beautiful surroundings.

Clean, comfy, modern yet old ambiance. Sheep and lambs so fun to watch scampering across the hill behind the house. Very well equipped. Great shower. Great beds.
We only stayed for one night. When we first got there my first thought was that it was a little old fashioned, but it was so comfortable and in keeping with the surroundings that I soon settled in.

I had a perfect little stay at a beautiful cottage in the countryside. the place was spotless and had all the amenities you could need. the host, Gary, was extremely accommodating and left thoughtful touches like milk, chocolates, and beer. the bed was incredibly comfortable, giving me one of the best night's sleep I've had in a while. the location was peaceful and great for dog owners, with the village just a short walk away.
It felt like a home away from home and I can't wait to return. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.
